The Division of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health), Galveston, Texas, seeks a skilled clinician-scientist who specializes in geriatric medicine and research to join UTMB at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.

UTMB Health was the first medical school in the state of Texas and has been in business since 1891. Over the years, UTMB Health has successfully built the strong infrastructure for excellence in all three aspects of academic medicine—education, research, and patient care. This includes strong support of faculty development through endowments, mentoring, competitive compensation and incentive plans.

We provide our faculty with a positive, stable, and efficient work environment. The research component of this position will be supported by UTMB’s Sealy Center on Aging. Established in 1995, the Center brings together interdisciplinary investigators and clinicians in an effort to foster meaningful and successful collaborations.
