Beaumont Health is seeking an innovative internist to lead its Oakwood Hospital - Dearborn internal medicine education program. Leadership responsibilities include residency training, medical student programs and CME. The program director is also responsible for oversight and direct reporting of the medical subspecialty fellowships and directors in Cardiovascular Disease and Geriatric Medicine at Oakwood Dearborn._x000D_ _x000D_ The residency program consists of 20 faculty and 33 residents with a strong focus on teaching and mentoring as well as an emphasis on faculty development. Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn, (formally known as Oakwood Hospital - Dearborn) is located in the suburban corridor between Detroit and Ann Arbor and is one of the eight hospitals comprising Beaumont Health, the largest provider of healthcare and resident training in Michigan._x000D_ _x000D_ The preferred candidate will be a board certified MD or DO in internal medicine. Candidates with additional subspecialty training and board certification also encouraged to apply.
