As the regions only tertiary care center, Stony Brook University Hospital Long Islands premier academic medical center and Level 1 Regional Trauma Center continues to expand and is recruiting additional hospitalists to join our dynamic staff.
As a hospitalist at Stony Brook, you will:
Provide clinical care in acute and subacute settings
Teach medical residents, geriatric fellows and students
Engage in patient safety initiatives
Salary and academic rank offered will be commensurate with experience.
Stony Brook is a 603-bed hospital located approximately 50 miles east of New York City. We offer a broad range of educational and recreational opportunities. Our robust geriatric academic program offers a traditional one-year Geriatric Medicine Fellowship and we also offer a two-year Geriatric Fellow-Hospitalist track.
