About the Organization
Palmetto Medical Initiative (PMI) is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide quality, affordable healthcare to people in need. This is done through the development of self-sustaining medical centers in developing countries. Four times a year, medical teams are sent to serve the rural communities surrounding those medical centers. PMI is always looking for volunteers to join these trips, bringing quality, affordable care to the people who need it most.
