About the Organization
Orunje is a new healthcare on demand company in Chicago that connects patients with providers in their community. We are initially launching in the Chicago area and are seeking out Illinois licensed (or pending Illinois licensed) physicians. Orunje itself is an online marketing platform that allows patients with nonurgent health issues to request to be visited in their home or place of business by a physician. Patients login and provide their medical information. When they need to be seen, they submit a formal request for a visit, prepaying $159-$199 by debit or credit card. Providers registered with Orunje all receive notification of the request to be seen. Initial available information includes the patient's gender, age, location, and chief complaint. The first provider to click "accept" on their computer or mobile device then gets a chance to look at that patient's medical record. He or she then proceeds to see the patient at their home or office, and upon completion of the visit, documents it in our novel EMR system. Within 24 hours funds held are then transferred directly into the physician's account. Malpractice is covered. Physicians never work for Orunje, you work for yourself and your patient. No contracts, no third party payors, no required follow up visits. You can see as many or as few patients as you choose, but if you register you get to see all visit requests.
