About the Organization
Asian Pacific Health Care Venture (APHCV) is a non-profit community health center whose mission is to be the medical home for our patients by providing personalized, quality health care services in a culturally accessible manner. APHCV is a medical home where our patients and their families from diverse backgrounds attain optimal health and wellness. We offer services with a particular focus on low-income families and underserved Asians and Latinos. We also offer programs of health education and community economic development within our catchment area and other regions of Los Angeles County. Our services include primary care, pediatrics, behavioral and mental health, community outreach, nutrition education and more!
L.A. Care Health Plan has recognized Asian Pacific Health Care Venture, Inc. for three years in a row as Top Performing Clinic. We received the Top Performing Clinic Award in the categories of Womens and Pediatric Care! We are so honored to be recognized by L.A. Care Health Plan for the quality care that we provide to all of our patients and community, particularly for youth and adults. We strive to always provide the best, culturally competent, and patient-centered care.
About the Community
The APHCV-Los Feliz Health Center, located in East Hollywood, is a comprehensive health and wellness center with a team of clinicians who specialize in family practice, general medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and women's health, in addition to a registered dietician and licensed clinical social worker. The APHCV-Los Feliz Health Center provides primary and preventive health care, with in-person interpretation services in ten Asian languages, in addition to English and Spanish. The APHCV-Los Feliz Health Center has onsite laboratory services, health education programs, and provides enrollment assistance into various health insurance and public assistance programs.
