About the Organization
Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) is a local governance entity, funded with state and federal funds to provide community-based behavioral health services. FPHSA serves 5 parishes in Louisiana as follows: Washington, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston, & St. Helena. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitative Facilities.
Our greatest need at this time is for adult psychiatric services. We are seeking general psychiatrists to work in the outpatient sector.
Services primarily clinic-based. Minimal travel may be required.
About the Community
Rural- Active public recreation department; country club; golf course; water sports; near several waterways and north of Lake Pontchartrain; fishing; boating; sailing; regional airport; cycling; horseback riding; stables; Columbia Theatre. Only one hour from New Orleans; Baton Rouge; Gulf Coast area for entertainment. Easy transportation access as 4 interstates in area: I-12; I-55; I-59; & I-10.
