About the Organization
A privately owned pediatric practice providing experienced infant, toddler, child, and adolescent healthcare services in Lewiston-Auburn and its surrounding communities. It is currently the largest privately owned pediatric practice in the State of Maine and has been serving the community for over fifty years. Pediatric Associates is owned by a husband and wife physician team and employs over 40 employees. There are currently thirteen providers on staff. Pediatric Associates offers medical and behavioral care for children from birth to 18 years of age. The practice is a NCQA recognized patient centered medical home. We are a collegial team of providers and support staff who ensure safe, evidence-based, compassionate care; every time, every touch to each patient.
About the Community
Lewiston-Auburn is a twin city community with a diverse population. It is populated by approximately 70,000 people. Lewiston-Auburn is home to the third and fourth largest hospital in the State of Maine. (St. Mary's Regional Medical Center and Central Maine Medical Center). The city is also home to one of Maine's premier colleges - Bates College. This Central Maine community is located forty-five minutes from Maine's beautiful coastlines and mountains. The twin city is also located thirty minutes from Portland, Maine's metropolitan hub, which offers fine dining, theater, and plenty of other daytime excursions. The city itself continues to grow and has become widely diverse. The city has become a welcome home to thousands of French and Somali immigrants. The community adapts positively to change and is an inviting place to live and work for many.
