There are two close community airports; North Bend, Oregon and Crescent City, CA. and an easy drive to one international airport, Medford, Oregon, for easy long distance travel access.
Practicing in a rural setting offers a unique experience. Relationships with patients and their families tend to be ongoing, rather than isolated events. Health becomes a continuum that is experienced daily as people move in and out of good health. We work hard at teaching prevention; we work hard with patients as part of a family unit in the hospital; we find good support for patients at discharge.
