About the Organization
Thundermist Health Center is a private, non-profit community health center serving three Rhode Island communities. We have been serving Rhode Island for more than 40 years, presently with health centers in Woonsocket, South County, and West Warwick. All of our sites are recognized by the National Health Service Corps and many of our health care providers are eligible for federal loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC). All three locations are recognized as Level III Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Thundermist provides comprehensive health care services in order to meet the needs of each community....These include: Primary outpatient medical care, by board certified staff physicians with hospital privileges in our communities of service; Dental care by board certified dentists and dental hygienists; Mental health services in a fully integrated model alongside our medical services; Plus, a full in-house pharmacy, through a partnership with CVS/pharmacy, allows patients to take advantage of Section 340B special pricing afforded by the US Public Health Services.
