About the Organization
AcuteCare Health System's Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey is considered New Jersey's leader in developing long term acute care hospital- commonly referred to as a LTACH. AcuteCare Health System has established a 50 bed "hospital-within-a-hospital" located within Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, New Jersey.
Our facility is uniquely designed to provide long term, acute care to patients with complex medical conditions. Our highly qualified staff of physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals possess the expertise to deliever this intensive treatment to patients who require an extended hospital stay - usuually 25 days or more.
By offering a smaller personalized environment, we can focus our attention on providing patients with the highest level of care, yet having ready access to the vast array of resources of a full service hospital. This seamless continuum of care is essential for optimum healing and health.
