About the Organization
Salem Health, the largest health system in the mid-Willamette Valley of Oregon, is comprised of Salem Hospital, West Valley Hospital (in Dallas, OR), and Willamette Health Partners, the multispecialty provider group. Salem Hospital is an independent, not-for-profit, Level II trauma center with over 460 physicians on the active medical staff representing 46 specialties. Were one of a handful of hospitals nationally to receive Magnet recognition; were in the top 4% of hospitals in EMR adoption and our critical care department has received the coveted Beacon Award for the last three years in a row. Salem, the capital city of Oregon located just 45 miles south of metropolitan Portland in the middle of the fertile Willamette Valley, has a family-friendly ambiance, temperate climate and ideal location for easy access to outdoor recreation.
