Beverly Hospital is uniquely poised to shine in the emerging new healthcare world. According to Blue Cross Blue Shield, the hospital and it's physicians achieved the highest quality score in the state in 2013, outperforming all of the downtown academic medical centers where it matters most, keeping patients healthy and happy. A pioneer, Beverly Hospital has been able to achieve high quality and patient satisfaction results at a lower cost basis which matters to the consumer as more and more health plans become tiered and as consumers take on greater responsibility for their healthcare decisions by selecting higher deductible and co-payment plans. Higher quality at lower costs is the future of healthcare in this country. On top of that, our primary care offices are working towards stage two Meaningful Use accreditation while many hospital groups have yet to achieve stage one and our pilot for Patient Centered Medical Home scored 199 points out of a possible 200 in level three accreditation. This is the future of healthcare and we are living it now.
