This process includes the recruitment of physicians, both primary care and specialists, to provide a solid base of medical care for local residents. The active and courtesy medical staff includes 200 members and continues to grow. Hospital services are also expanding to meet community needs. Our facility is 154 beds. Our ED has 45,000. visits annually. Our new ED will be complete in March 2015. With more than 900 employees, Union Hospital is able to offer comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical, and rehabilitation services.

Located in the rolling hills of east-central Ohio,Tuscarawas County is perfectly situated and centrally between Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh. We are conveniently located near four major airports. Our community offers excellent outdoor activities such as biking, boating and golf with access to eight public and one private golf course. Residential areas are close to parks and excellent schools including public and private. Our community offers affordable housing from established neighborhoods of large stately homes to newer contemporary developments. Dover is an excellent place to raise a family.
