Residents and Fellows in all medical specialties and all years of training are invited to attend these FREE events to meet employers from leading healthcare organizations and practice groups. Employers travel from across the country to attend CareerMD Career Fairs. Many of the country's largest, most prestigious healthcare systems attend.
Representatives from these employers can speak with you about opportunities at their own organizations and can also steer you toward colleagues at other organizations who may have suitable vacancies for you. Employer representatives may also be qualified to speak with you about broader career-planning issues such as J1 issues, decisions about sub-specializing, and employment trends in your field.
Exhibiting employers are at the event to help you. If you have questions about specific opportunities, they will be able to answer those questions. If you are a year or more away from completing your training, employer representatives will be able to discuss your future plans with you and arrange to keep in touch as vacancies become available.
