CareerMD | San Antonio

Event Format The CareerMD Career Fair in San Antonio will provide participating organizations with an opportunity to meet residents and fellows in a relaxed setting. Magnolia Halle is a new venue with a historic feel. Each participating organization will be assigned a station which is clearly designated by complimentary signage provided by CareerMD. (Signage is printed in color and includes both organization name and logo.) There is no requirement that you remain at your station during the evening.

Event Preparation
Extensive information about your organization, including your current vacancies and a profile, will be published in the Participating Employers Guide and distributed to residents and fellows in advance of the event. Inclusion in the Participating Employers Guide is complimentary and helps ensure that residents and fellows arrive at the event with an awareness of which organizations they will have an opportunity to meet. Therefore, upon registering for an event, it is important that you log in to CareerMD to post your current vacancies and profile.

Attendee Guidelines
Each participating organization is assigned a table location which is clearly designated by complimentary signage provided by CareerMD. (Signage is printed in color and includes both organization name and logo.) Participating organizations are encouraged to bring business cards, brochures, and other print materials for distribution to residents and fellows. While giveaways and tablecloths are not restricted, they are not recommended, as table space may be limited and will vary from one event to the next based upon venue requirements. Booths, floor banners and tabletop displays are not permitted at CareerMD events unless explicitly noted.

Hotels, Parking, and Shipping

Complimentary self-parking is available at the venue.

If you will be bringing brochures, flyers, or other printed materials to the event, CareerMD recommends that you bring these items with you rather than shipping them ahead of time, in order to ensure their safe arrival. If you opt to ship your materials, please contact the venue directly for shipping instructions. Please note that CareerMD is not responsible for receiving packages and, upon arrival at the event, please check with the venue directly to retrieve your package.
